Organized gaming Can Make A Difference

Funbash! is well known for bringing its games into underserved communities which gives it the opportunity to witness children interacting with officers at its game-board tables. Many times this is the first interaction for these children with cops and to see a human side of them. That moment is also a tremendous impact on the officers who can see how their presence light up the face and create smiles.

We have made it part of our mission to improve community-police relations. We invite community organizations and law enforcement to use our service to strengthen relationships with children and teens. Events intended to break down barriers between communities and law enforcement, the kinds of barriers we’ve found lead to a lack of trust and a perpetuation of issues around police legitimacy.
